Paid or free web host?
When creating a website you can choose to register a domain name and select a web host, or you can choose a free web host.
Now, it depends on what you create your website for
If you create an About Me website...just for fun, it's ok to choose a free web host provider.
If you want to make money with your website I strongly recommend you to choose a web host.
Why? Firstly, if you want to earn money with your website, you will need traffic on it. The best way to bring traffic to your website is to get a high rank in search engines. These days Google and all the major search engines tend to ignore the sites created with free web hosts.
Plus, free web host providers cannot guarantee stability and longevity for your site. And you need your site to work 24/24...not to be down 50% of this time, or even more. :)
And last, but not least, if you want to make money with your website, you will need credibility. And, to be honest...a site created with a free web host will lose much of its credibility.
