So, don't just place ads and banners with the products you want to sell all over your page because people won't click on them anyway.

 

2. Many people choose the wrong affiliate products

Lots of people, when becoming affiliate marketers, do not choose to promote the products that match the topic of their website.

Trying to market a product to the wrong audience will surely lead to failure.

 

3. Choosing products that offer too little commissions

You should only choose to market products that pay a decent commission.

You won't be making much money with commissions of 1-10%, so try to look for high commissions of 40-60%.

 

4. Offering too many different products on the same webpage

Try to promote 1-2 things on a page. If you promote zillion products on the same page, you will fail to focus the attention of your visitors.

When they will see so many products, eventually they won't but anything.

 

5. Recommending “crap”

Try buying the products you are promoting, so that you make sure they are worth promoting.

If you don't know how these products are and you keep promoting “crap”, you will lose your credibility and people won't buy anymore the products promoted on your website.
