How to Display Google AdSense Ads
Here are the steps you have to follow in order to be able to display Google AdSense ads:
1. Choose a topic for your website
2. Create a website
3. Write your content
4. Add meta tags to your pages
5. Sign up to Google AdSense
6. Bring traffic to your website
This is a very important step. You are interested in choosing a topic that you know a lot of things about so that you can keep adding new content to your website.
Secondly, you have to like the topic you are writing about. This will make your work a lot easier.
If you choose a topic that doesn't interest you, you will have a hard time building it.
Furthermore, be aware that the topic you choose will determine for the most part the sum of money you will earn per ad clicked.
As I've told you before, the ads on your page will be displayed according to your topic. For example, it would be a good idea to write about "auto insurance", as this kind of services are quite expensive, so these companies will pay more in order to be advertised.
On the other hand, you can think about interesting topics like music, sport, jobs etc. that will bring a lot of traffic to your website.
These ones may not bring you as much per click, but you can earn from the frequency your ads are clicked.
Because, let's say, if 5 persons are interested one day in auto insurance, then for sure at least 200 would be interested in music.
Warning: in order to make sure your topic doesn't break Google AdSense's Program Policies, read AdSense's Content Guidelines, as Google AdSense DOES NOT accept adult, violent, casino-related content... So, don't forget to read their Content Guidelines!
If you would want to create a website or a blog just for fun, you would have the possibility to create it on a free blog or on a free web host.
BUT if you want to make money with Google AdSense, you can't just sign up with a free blog or a free web host anymore.
This is because Google have changed their politics in late 2008 and they only accept nowadays sites created on registered domains.
1. First of all, you have to choose a web host. The web host will provide you the space and the tools you need for building your web pages, so your site cannot exist without a web host. Here is a list of web hosts that "work good" with Google AdSense: List of Web Hosts
2. You need a domain name (www.yoursitename.com). After you selected a web host, you need to register a domain name. Most web hosting providers will offer you the domain name for FREE when you buy their hosting plan.
Once you have chosen your topic, registered your domain name and chosen your web host, you can start writing your content.
Here are some “rules” too.
1. Make sure your content is related to your topic
2. Write unique content (nobody says you cannot inspire yourself from other websites, but make sure you don't copy their content)
3. Write as much content as possible (Google likes sites that offer a lot of information, so it would be unlikely you to be accepted if you only have 1 or 2 pages)
Meta tags are HTML elements that tell Google what your page is about, so that they can add to your pages only the ads that are related to your topic.
This is very useful because if, for example, a person is interested in "tennis", it is more likely that that person will click on an ad that advertises "tennis racquets" or "tennis apparel".
It is very important to add meta tags to all your pages. This will also help your site rank higher in search engine results.

Now you need to sign up for a Google AdSense account.
Go to Google AdSense site, click on "Sign up now" button. You will have to fill in some information so that they can pay you. The registration is FREE.
After you receive your approval you are done. You can now start making money online!
Make sure you don't click on the ads on your website, because if you do so, they will delete your account for obvious reasons.
After you have your site and your Google AdSense account, all you need is traffic.
If you have lots of visitors on you website, the chances that someone clicks on your ads will be way bigger.
