Google AdSense: 5 Mistakes You Should Avoid
Many, many people sign up these days to Google AdSense. But, 
as I've told you in another article, some of them earn thousands of dollars a month, while other persons barely make 100$.
Here are some common mistakes made with Google AdSense, so, in order to increase your chances to make money online, try to avoid making the same mistakes.
1. Many people fail to understand Google AdSense is not a get-rich-quick scheme
Most people, after signing up to Google AdSense, think they will get rich overnight. And this is sooo wrong!
In many cases, you don't get to make 100$ a month...but this is in the beginning. You don't have to give up trying.
You have to stay focused on how to promote your site and make it better.
Lots of people only write 1-2 pages and many times these pages are either copied or have low quality content.
Well...this is not the right way to do it. You should choose a topic you know a lot of things about so you can write as much original content as possible.
This way you will bring more traffic to your website and so will increase the chances that someone clicks on your ads.
Many people think that, if they build their website based on many different topics, they will have more traffic to their website.
But this is wrong again!
If a person is interested in a particular topic, that person will search for a site that offers lots and lots of information about that topic.
Him/her won't be interested in a site that offers little information about zillion topics.
Lots of people that have great sites don't know how to promote them and complain about not having enough traffic.
You should treat your site like a business and try to advertise and promote it as well as you can.

Make sure you don't break Google AdSense's Program Policies. Many people click on their own ads in order to boost their revenue from Google AdSense.
As tempting as it might seem, don't do that!
Google will eventually catch you and your account will be deleted.
Course, there are some other things you are not allowed to do:
- don't open more than 1 Google AdSense account, even if you have more than a site
- don't use traffic generators
- do not mask ad elements
- do not disclose confidential information
- never change the AdSense code
- place ads only on content pages
- do not specify Google ads as your alternate ads, etc.
